Northwestern Mutual set out to strengthen brand visibility, awareness, and trust among minority communities, positioning local advisors as credible and trusted partners for achieving financial security. 

CMRignite developed a robust public relations campaign featuring select Black and Hispanic advisors in four key cities. Through multimedia stories, blogs, and articles, and by leveraging key national observances and news outlets, we put these trusted voices in the spotlight, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to multicultural communities. 

The results spoke for themselves. The campaign generated over 300 million earned media impressions, heightened awareness of Northwestern Mutual’s multicultural initiatives, and increased the visibility of local advisors in their communities. The effort exceeded client expectations and reinforced the brand as a trusted partner for diverse audiences.
