We Are Here Milwaukee (MKE) Awareness Campaign
Pushing back on domestic abuse.
We Are Here Milwaukee (MKE) is a collective of culturally specific domestic and sexual violence awareness programs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The collective centers BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) communities, increasing access to trusted, culturally responsive support and resources.
We partnered with EDA to develop and launch a multi-layered campaign that highlighted the causes of domestic abuse and the many services available to vulnerable populations. The messaging was positive, uplifting, and hopeful, guiding people to a website filled with information and support.
The campaign delivered measurable results. Digital ads, social media, and earned media achieved above-average engagement and click-through rates, establishing a strong foundation for the next phase of outreach.
